This project explored developing a cohesive typeface system. Through extensive iteration, I refined each letterform,adjusting angles, curves, and proportions to ensure individual characters maintained distinct personality while contributing to a unified typographic structure.

This project explored translating the angular, gestural qualities of Arabic calligraphy into Latin letterforms. The challenge was balancing calligraphic energy with typographic consistency and developing a systematic structure that maintains visual impact across scales.

Silky is a lowercase display serif designed for high-impact applications. The angular stems, hooked terminals, and calligraphic influence create bold visual presence suitable for headlines, posters, and environmental graphics.
